Spring Collection
Spring Collection is on view at Lionel Smit Studio until 26 November 2026. The exhibition brings together recent oil paintings with selected bronze editions, from the monumental Transparent Bloom (200 × 300 cm) to more intimate paintings and sculpture. It is a selection assembled by the studio for this season. Among the bronzes is Align Mask, shown here for the first time.
The collection is installed through the studio’s renewed rooms. It continues upstairs into the offices, and through what was the old storeroom and sculpting space — now an extended showroom that leads to a new nook, open to visitors for the first time.
For the duration of the exhibition, the studio is open Monday to Friday, 09:00–16:00, and Saturdays, 09:00–13:00. Also on view is OBJE, the studio's new collection of interior objects. A catalogue is available on request, and works may be reserved through the studio.

Lionel Smit Studio has been thoughtfully designed to function as a fully immersive experience. It was conceptualised as a space that can ignite a love of art and its possibilities. Here we welcome members of the public and discerning art collectors from around the world.
The gallery is a living, evolving interactive artwork waiting to be explored. Its design is both bold and imaginative, both accessible and inspiring all at once. Light, space, paint, print, and sculpture come alive here in a unique visual dance.
